2025 Albemarle Sprint Regatta
In the spirit of the Albemarle 100, which was an overnight, nonstop, down and back race...
We are planning a two-day ASSA Spring Race on April 26-27 from Albemarle Plantation in Hertford to Elizabeth City on Saturday, overnight in Elizabeth City, and a race from Elizabeth City back to Albemarle Plantation on Sunday. A shorter backup course to Edenton and back is planned in case we have weather that is not favorable to sailboat racing.
Registration will be a Google Form and a fee of $25 will be collected via USPS mail or at the Skipper's Meeting Friday Night. Each leg of the Elizabeth City course will be approximately 32 nm without tacking, so assess your boat, crew, and skill set before committing to this race.
We are finalizing details for race format, scoring, classes, etc. and plan to send out the NOR the first week of March.
